Frequently Asked Questions

What services are available?

I provide:

  • Supervision for trainees completing their fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification

  • Mentorship for individuals preparing for the exam or newly certified BCBAs needing clinical support

  • Consultation for ABA clinicians, clinic owners, and organizations seeking guidance on systems, staff training, or clinical development

All services are fully remote.

How many supervision hours will I receive each month while completing fieldwork?

Supervisees completing fieldwork receive 6.5 hours of supervision per month, which equals 5% of the maximum eligible monthly fieldwork hours (130 hours).

These hours are spread across at least four meetings per month.

What does a typical supervision month look like?

Each month includes:

  • 1 group supervision meeting

  • 1 recorded observation (you submit a video; we review it together during session)

  • 2 or more individual meetings discussing clinical topics related to your current clients, cases, and competencies

Some months may include additional sessions depending on your needs and goals.

How are observations conducted?

Observations are recorded rather than live.
You submit a video of a session, and we review a segment together during your scheduled supervision meeting.

This approach allows for:

  • Targeted feedback

  • Pause-and-discuss learning

  • Reduced pressure on the client and supervisee

  • Flexible scheduling

Consent forms will be generated and must be signed by all relevant parties prior to conducting any recordings or observations.

How do unrestricted hours work?

Unrestricted hours occur naturally throughout the supervision process. Most supervisees regularly complete tasks such as:

  • Program writing

  • Data analysis

  • Assessment preparation

  • Treatment planning

  • Writing session notes

  • Parent communication

  • Staff collaboration and training

I also assign unrestricted tasks during group supervision, ensuring that trainees consistently and easily meet their unrestricted-hour requirements.

What are your fees?

Supervisees are billed hourly at an agreed-upon rate.
Rates are discussed during a free meet-and-greet call to ensure a good fit.

After sessions are completed each month, I generate a monthly invoice for the total hours provided.

For individuals seeking mentorship or consultation, we can build a custom package that meets your goals. These services are also billed monthly.

Do you offer group supervision?

Yes. Group supervision is held regularly and counts toward your monthly 6.5 supervision hours.
Group sessions focus on:

  • Assigned unrestricted tasks

  • Case discussions

  • Skill-building

  • Problem-solving

  • Reviewing real examples of clinical work

Group supervision helps trainees connect, learn collaboratively, and practice necessary skills.

What does mentorship look like?

Mentorship is designed for:

  • Individuals preparing for the BCBA exam

  • Newly certified BCBAs transitioning into the profession

  • Clinicians who want additional support beyond what their employer provides

Mentorship may include:

  • Case consultation

  • Time management strategies

  • Treatment planning feedback

  • Study support and exam preparation

  • Developing systems and workflows

  • Professional growth coaching

You can choose from flexible packages built around your specific goals.

Do you supervise students outside of Maryland?

I am licensed as a BCBA in Maryland.
Supervisees outside Maryland must verify whether their state requires supervisors to hold a license in their state before beginning fieldwork.
